With ivory hilt carved as a sea monster with paste eyes and tapering to the quillon block with a twisted silverwire grip alternating with stained decoration. The silver quillon block is stamped with unidentified marks having recurved globular quillons. The single edged blade tapering to the point with stout fuller starting a third of the way down the blade and ending close to the tip.  With original leather scabbard mounted in silver.
