With short turned barrels, keyed at the muzzles, signed actions and fitted with gilt-bronze butts and trigger-guards which form safety-catches, both engraved with scrolling floral decoration around a grotesque mask.

 

Henri Devillers is listed as working in Liege from 1734 to his death in 1762.
