With case-hardened fluted barrels numbered from '1' to '6' at the breeches and engraved with a band of foliage around the muzzles, case-hardened rounded action with nipple-shield and engraved with scrolling foliage, the former signed within an oval on one side, and engraved 'Improved Revolving Pistol' within an oval on the other, case-hardened foliate engraved barhammer, blued thumbpiece safety-catch, blued foliate scroll engraved trigger-guard , blued trigger, finely chequered figured rounded butt carved with lines around the ovoidal pommel and with case-hardened butt-trap with hinged circular cover engraved with a flower-head, vacant silver escutcheon, and in fine condition retaining nearly all its original finish: in original lined and fitted mahogany case with accessories including brass-mounted three-way powderflask and combined bullet-mould and ramrod, the interior of the lid with maker's trade label, the exterior with shaped vacant brass escutcheon, Birmingham proof marks.
