This mace is of all steel construction, with a head formed of twelve flanges, bulbous in profile at the top, tapering to the haft. Their flat edges are decorated with stylised foliage. The haft is engraved with scrolling foliage enhanced with a floral diaper with spiral chains, the flowers and chains in gold koftgari. The butt is counterbalanced with an ovoid finial, above which is a plain section originally covered with fabric or leather for the hand grip.
