The armour has gauntlets with maker’s stamp EF, with Nuremberg quality assay mark beside it. The breast plate is also stamped however with HP, with Nuremberg quality assay mark beside it.

The gauntlets are from another armour, however made at the same time, in the same city and have been with the armour for a long time.

This armour will not pre-date 1570/75, it has details in common with a large group of Nuremberg heavy infantry armours ordered by the Styrian estates in 1577 and delivered to the Graz arsenal in 1578-9.
