The head is etched over its lower portion with a contrasting darkened panel filled with the Imperial crowned double eagle charged with the breast shield of Austria and Lothringen-Toscana, and flanked by the cyphers of the Emperor Francis I and the Empress Maria Theresa. On its original wooden staff and retaining its original silk and bullion tassel.
