DESCRIPTION
The steel body covered with velvet and set with open-work mounts of etched and gilt brass in the form of scrolling foliage. The frame mounts finely cast in low relief with scenes of the chase amid foliage, the steel body etched with scrolling foliage and strapwork. The lid with a moveable key-hole cover, which allows a key to operate six bolts, the inside of the lid etched with strapwork and again mounted in gilt brass, with two closed ring-handles and four ball- feet of etched and gilt-copper.
